●Ways to avoid accidents during heavy snow |
|
Although we are very blessed to have numerous wonderful ski resorts in Fukushima, heavy snow does bring problems to our daily lives: house damage, traffic jams, and disconnection of phone lines. Furthermore, injuries and casualties are reported every year during the snow removal process and avalanches.

The Fukushima International Association arranged for 27 foreign residents and 20 volunteer multilingual assistants to undergo training at the 2009 Fukushima Prefectual Emergency Drills,held in Koriyama City on August 27th,2009. |
