Prince William’s Park (Motomiya City): Winning 2 Consecutive Times

The website “Kodomo to Odekake Iko-yo”(Let’s go and hang out with the kids!) publishes information on family outings. The yearly popularity ranking was released and Prince William’s Park (otherwise known as Smile Kids Park)ranked number one for the Hokkaido and Tohoku regions.

This park facility with a British-style garden was established in Motomiya City when Prince William from the British Royal Family visited.

The garden has various types of flowers as well as a commemorative monument with a message from Prince William and Prince Charles. There are even indoor and outdoor playgrounds, so many families come to visit the park.
